About the event

The Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF) is a widely recognised tool that captures the knowledge, skills, and behaviours that underpin effective research practice. The RDF supports personal, professional, and career development, and aligns with sector priorities such as open research, research integrity, and knowledge exchange.

This workshop will introduce the framework and give you guided time to explore how it can support your own development. We welcome clinical professionals at any career stage who are considering or actively pursuing research. Whether you are an AHP, doctor, pharmacist, or another clinical professional, this session will help you reflect on your strengths and enhance your professional portfolio.

Hosted by the Southampton Academy of Research (SoAR), the workshop will be led by Dr Julie Reeves, Researcher Developer and Principal Teaching Fellow (Associate Professor) at the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP), University of Southampton, and Vitae Impact, Culture and Engagement (ICE) awardee.
